Why can't people hear me through my microphone?

The most common causes are:

• The mute button is on. Tap on the "unmute" button at the bottom of the video conferincing scvreen.
• The volume on the microphone is down or muted Many microphones have volume and mute buttons. Make sure the mute is off and the volume is turned up.
• You didn't give us permission to use the microphone. Here are instructions for each of the major browsers:
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Edge
  • Safari
• Your device is accesing a different microphone to what you are expecting. Is your device connected to an external microphone? Maybe via your earphone jack or bluetooth. If yes, then check if they work.
